Archive Help & Background
How this household storehouse runs, who tends it, and where each likeness originates.
About These Pages
Rootwell Heritage is the meeting ground of the Rootwell household — a breathing storehouse of kin, milestones and likenesses reaching back to the arrival of Thomas Rootwell in 1878.
It is tended by our household editors: Joseph Rootwell (chronicler), Brooklyn Rootwell (scribe) and Peter Rootwell (lens-keeper), with fresh material filed after every get-together.
Wandering the Storehouse
Relative Directory — each chronicled kinsfolk, searchable by name and sortable by line-up.
Lineage Chart — the limbs at a glance; pick any likeness for the fuller account.
Chronicle & Albums — happenings in sequence, and the likenesses behind them, sortable by mood.
Reach Out & Guidance
Amendments, fresh likenesses and overlooked kin are forever welcome — the storehouse thrives on what the household pours in.
Drop the editors a line at EDITORS@ROOTWELLHERITAGE.EXAMPLE and attach names, dates and places to whatever you pass on.
Often Wondered
How do I get a kinsman added to the directory?
Post the editors a portrait likeness, full name, birth date and spot, plus a few sentences on their days. Fresh life-sketches go live after each seasonal storehouse sitting.
May I save likenesses from the albums?
Household folk may save any likeness for private, home-only keeping. Trade or press handling needs the lens-keeper's nod — check with the editors first.
A date or a name looks off — what should I do?
Do tell us. William Harlow's grand cross-check mended forty dates, and we take it more slip-ups linger. Forward whatever proof you hold and we will set the entry straight.
